Johnny Depp Visits Buenos Aires with Jorge Rodríguez

The American actor and director Johnny Depp has arrived in Argentina after spending some time resting in Punta del Este, where he was received by his friend, businessman Jorge "Corcho" Rodríguez. Depp was a guest at Rodríguez's ranch, "Yellow Rose," where they enjoyed meals, recorded in the property's studio, and witnessed some polo matches. Recently, they both moved to Buenos Aires, and again Rodríguez was the host at his home in San Isidro. The bond between them started a year and a half ago when rock photographer Ross Halfin introduced them. They later met at film festivals in Rome and San Sebastián during the premiere of the film "Modi," directed by Depp and in which Rodríguez is involved in its distribution in Latin America.

Regarding their future joint projects, in addition to the distribution of "Modi," they are both collaborating on the development of a wine whose name, label, and packaging design are still being defined. Johnny Depp, 61 years old, is known for his participation in various films such as "Platoon," "Edward Scissorhands," "Don Juan DeMarco," "Secret Window," "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," and "Alice in Wonderland," among others, although he gained worldwide fame with the "Pirates of the Caribbean" saga. Outside the cinematic realm, Depp has been in the media spotlight due to his tumultuous separation from Amber Heard, with a trial that culminated in mid-2022.
